Newly-crowned European champion Lily de la Cour is eyeing another big year in 2019.
World and European kickboxing champion Lily de la Cour has no intentions of slowing down in 2019 despite already conquering the sport she took up aged seven.
The Bantry-woman has her sights set on even more international recognition this year as well as the continued growth of the West Cork Kickboxing Club where she trains.
Ahead of the release of Get Active 2019, which is free with Thursday's Southern Star, we paid Lily a visit to watch her train, get her thoughts on the year ahead and speak to her about kickboxing as a form of excercise.
