Rowers Paul and Gary inspire leaders and champions to dream big with Nissan
OLYMPIC GAMES-BOUND Skibbereen rowers Paul and Gary O’Donovan are playing an inspirational role in a national campaign to encourage Ireland’s next generation of leaders and champions to follow their dream.
The two brothers achieved their childhood dream when they qualified to represent Ireland in the lightweight double sculls event at this summer’s Olympic Games in Rio as Nissan Generation Next ambassadors.
The Nissan Generation Next ambassador programme supports Ireland’s leaders of tomorrow on their journey to success by providing them with a brand new, taxed and insured Nissan to drive for a year.
Applications for this year’s programme are now open and Paul (21) and Gary (23) are calling on innovators and movers and shakers from all walks of life in Ireland to apply online so that they may follow in their footsteps.
Film and photographic crews recently travelled to Cork to capture a day in the life of the dynamic duo as they pursue their Olympic dream with a rigorous training regime on and off the water.
Applicants for the 2016 Nissan Generation Next progamme can apply online at www.nissangenerationnext.ie.
