Fresh from helping Bantry Bay Rugby Club’s U18 girls win the Munster league title last weekend, Yvonne O’Shea takes on her next challenge: answering the most testing questions in West Cork sport …

Rate yourself on a scale of 1 to 10 on how funny you are? I’d like to consider myself a 7 or an 8.

Highlight of your sporting career? Representing Ireland in the U18 Sevens tournaments in Manchester for the Sainsbury’s UK School Games and in Belgium for the Europeans.

Most dialled number on your phone? *100# to check my balance but other than that it’s my mother.

What’s your karaoke song? ‘Listen’ by Beyonce. I like giving it a blast every now and again.

Tell us an interesting fact about yourself? I used to be an Irish dancer before I started playing rugby with my local club, Bantry Bay RFC.

Best-ever holiday? My first holiday abroad, which was in Spain in 2008 with my family.

If you won the lotto what would you buy first? I’d love to travel abroad and help people in some of the poorer countries by financing them to help improve their health and living conditions.

Separated at birth, who’s your celebrity twin double? I’d say Jennifer Lawrence because she is a very outgoing person.

What’s your favourite word? Evidently.

If you could change any part of you what would it be? I’m pretty happy the way I am. ‘You are what you believe yourself to be’ – Paulo Coelho.

Your most treasured item of clothing? All of my sports gear (I’d live in them).

Favourite cartoon? My favourite was always The Rugrats so I’ll have to stick to that.

If I was an animal then I would be a ... cheetah for its speed and amazing coat.

What question would you liked to have been asked in this interview? Where do you think your future will take you?
