Champion bowler Mairead O'Driscoll (20), from Castlehaven, is gunning for All-Ireland glory this Saturday – but she finds time to chat about Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Pink Lady apples …

What's the one thing you can't live without? Spotify.

What would I find in your fridge right now? Pink Lady apples.

Name one element your sport could/should take from another? Good time-keeping.

What do you think about when you're alone in your car?

I don't drive so I'll be wondering how much longer my mom is going to be in the shop.

Who has been the biggest influence on your sporting career? My dad John Joe (who's also my coach), because he always pushed me to train harder and never let me give up.

Pick two celebrities to be your parents: Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher.

What do you think cats dream of? Mice.

If you could play any other sport for one day what would it be? Javelin.

If you joined a circus, what would you perform? Fire eating.

If you could get rid of one county in Ireland what would it be and why? Dublin because we all know Cork is the real capital of Ireland.

What would you do if you found a penguin in your freezer? Ask it to pass the potato waffles.

Before we let you go, teach us something we don't know: Humans have only explored five per cent of the Earth's oceans.
