Castlehaven forward suffered serious hamstring injury during Cork training
CORK forward Brian Hurley has confirmed to The Southern Star that he will miss the rest of the season after he tore his hamstring off the bone during a Cork training session last Sunday morning.
The Castlehaven attacker (24) is ruled out of the remainder of Cork’s All-Ireland campaign and this injury blow is also a major setback to his club and their hopes of mounting a strong Cork SFC challenge. Castlehaven have received a bye to Round 4 of the Cork SFC where they await the winner of Ilen Rovers v Carrigaline.
After confirming to The Southern Star that he doesn’t expect to play again this season, Hurley will now meet with a surgeon to decide what options are available to him.
