Two local clubs won €1,500 O'Neills vouchers as part of the Southern Star's biggest ever promotion
The two winners of the Southern Star's Big Kit Giveaway competition have been revealed at an event hosted in the all new Star Studio.
According to Kieran McCarthy, sports editor, the Big Kit Giveaway has been the Southern Star's biggest ever promotion.
Speaking at Tuesday's event he said: "We were inudated with entries. We were overwhelmed so I'd like to thank all our readers who entered and wish them all a very merry Christmas."
The competition which was run in conjunction with O'Neills saw hundreds of entries come in from schools and clubs all around West Cork.
In total there was €3,500 worth of O'Neills kit up for grabs with the two winners receiveing €1,500 each while the two runners up picked up vouchers to the value of €250.
The four finalists were Timoleague NS, Skibbereen Rugby Club, O'Donovan Rossa Ladies Football Club and St Joseph's Girls NS Clonakilty.
