AN appeal has gone out to help find a much loved family dog who was last seen on The Warren beach in Rosscarbery last week.

Charlie, a four-year-old black and white springer spaniel, was walking with his owner on the beach on Sunday, September 16th when he ran off and hasn’t been seen since.

Breda Cunnigham from Skibbereen said Charlie had been running forward and back as usual with her husband.

‘He ran off at one point and didn’t come back. That was at 4.30pm, we stayed there until around 8.30pm but there was no sign of him. He is microchipped and has a collar with his name and my number,’ said Breda.

The couple’s son gifted them Charlie who came from a rescue centre in Limerick.

She is appealing for any help in getting their beloved little dog back home.

Anyone with information can contact her on 086 3110173.
