Right way to think

LettersSIR – Would it be alright to say I won’t be voting for homosexual marriage – not because I have anything against fellow human beings, but because I will never accept that same gender couples could have more rights to raise a child than would the natural father of that boy or girl.

This is an appalling proposition now enshrined in follow-up legislation should the referendum be passed. This is a form of familial cruelty, which the liberals preach is morally justifiable.

Also I don’t believe that male on male sexual relations is a basis for marriage ‘equality’. Are we to expect that what we held as unacceptable all of our lives is now suddenly the ‘right way to think’ and woe betide those of us who still wish to speak the English language in a way which is not criminal, but contrary to the cockeyed zeitgeist, which is all but made law by the media and homosexual politicians?

Buzz off.

Robert Sullivan,

Bantry.
