STUDENTS at Mount St Michael Secondary School, Rosscarbery have taken inspiration from the hit Pixar movie, The Incredibles for their new bank.

As part of AIB’s Build a Bank challenge, enterprising students have set up their bank, and loosely basing themselves on the film, are calling it The Investibles

Star guest at their launch was Alastair Harte, owner of a gym in Lisavaird, Body Image Health and Fitness.

He was the perfect fit to cut the ribbon as students are building their community bank on a model of charity and well-being.

They intend fundraising for many different local charities in the build-up to the highly anticipated regional finals of AIB’s Build a Bank competition which will take place in Cork next February.

One of the many charities they are hoping to support is Penny Dinners in Cork city.
