Men arrested in connection with death of Timmy Hourihane

GARDAÍ investigating the murder of homeless man, Kilcrohane native Timmy Hourihane, at the Mardyke Walk, Cork, on October 13th, have said today that they have arrested two men.

A man in his 20s was arrested on Friday and he is being detained at the Bridewell Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.

Gardaí have also made a second arrest. The man, in his 30s, is currently being detained at Portlaoise Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

Investigations are ongoing.
