Gardaí have arrested a man in his 30s in relation to a burglary that occurred in Macroom last May.
A MAN in his 30s was arrested and charged by gardaí yesterday in relation to a burglary at a house in Macroom that occurred on May 29th last.
At approximately 4pm on May 29th, gardaí from Macroom received a report of a burglary that had occurred earlier that day. A man had entered a house on New Street via the backdoor and took a sum of cash.
Following an investigation by gardaí in Macroom, a man in his 30s was arrested yesterday.
He was detained at Macroom Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 and has since been charged to appear before the courts at a later date.
