Local pubs feature Well in the 2015 Michelin Pub Grub guide

West Cork has featured well in the recently-published Michelin’s Eating Out in Pubs guide for 2016.

WEST Cork has featured well in the recently-published Michelin’s Eating Out in Pubs guide for 2016.

Toddies at the Bulman in Kinsale has been named one of the ‘Inspectors’ Favourites’ in the guide.

The well-known Mary Ann’s in Castletownshend, along with the Poacher’s Inn in Bandon, Cronin’s in Crosshaven, and Deasy’s in Clonakilty have all featured among the 590 pubs that appear in the guide which covers the UK and Ireland.

‘This is an incredible achievement and really showcases the best that West Cork has to offer in terms of our tradition of hospitality,’ said Deputy Michael McCarthy, congratulating the local businesses. ‘We are known all over the world for our friendliness, warmth and the hospitality of the humble Irish Pub is legendary. This announcement demonstrates that West Cork is truly a wonderful place to visit.’
