STUDENTS across West Cork began their state examinations this morning.
The Leaving Certificate kicked off with English paper one at 9.30, followed by Home Economics in the afternoon.
Junior Cycle students also sat their English exam today.

State exams will run until June 23rd, so those studying Religious Education and Applied Mathematics have a long few weeks ahead of them before their final exam.
