Homelessness: A Crisis Beyond Crisis will be shown at the Cork Indie Film festival on October 8th at 9pm in the Gate cinema on North Main Street in Cork. 

A number of events will also be taking place for World Homeless Day on October 10th. ‘We are looking for as many people as possible to come out and support this worthwhile and important cause. We really have an opportunity to make true change here,’ he told The Southern Star.

A public protest rally to assert then right to housing takes place on October 10th at 2pm, as part of world homeless day, on Patrick Street in Cork, outside Dunnes Stores. Speakers will address the issue of housing as a fundamental right. 

A protest and 24-hour hunger strike and sleep-out for the homeless will take place that night on Anglesea Street from 8pm.
