A winter wedding showcase will take place this Sunday, January 10th from 2 to 6pm at Fernhill House Hotel and Gardens in Clonakilty. The showcase is being held as the West Cork wedding venue has again added to the light display in their gardens for winter wedding photographs. This culminated in a photograph of Rose and Ray Bennett being awarded ‘wedding photograph of the month in Ireland’ by photographers.ie.

Fernhill’s wedding co-ordinator, Caroline Hayes commented that. ‘Winter is a wonderful time of year to get married. Cosy fires, the smell of warm mulled wine, friends home for the holidays and looking forward to a big celebration. We believe that Fernhill is the perfect place for a winter wedding. Couples can enjoy our award-winning service while capturing stunning photos in our gardens. We are really looking forward to welcoming the many West Cork couples who became engaged over Christmas.’

The showcase will feature displays of how a winter wedding would look at Fernhill. There will be guided tours of the venue as well as the illuminated gardens. Guests will also be able to sample homemade sweet treats and Fernhill’s renowned mulled wine which is brewed personally by Neil O’Neill.

The Fernhill House Hotel winter wedding showcase will take place this Sunday, January 10th between 2 and 6pm. Entry is free of charge and couples are encouraged to bring loved ones. To find out more see Fernhill’s website www.fernhillhousehotel.com and facebook page.
