SHE may be only four years of age but that hasn’t stopped Faye Keohane from Myrtleville, pictured right, making her debut television appearance on The Late Late Toy Show on  Friday night.

A pupil of Caterpillars Montessori School in Crosshaven, Faye loves singing and is eagerly awaiting her chance to appear alongside Ryan Tubridy.

‘She’s been telling everybody that she is going to be on the Toy Show,’ said Caroline Keohane, Faye’s mother.

‘I’d say everyone in Crosshaven knows about it by now,’ she laughed.

Faye and Caroline are heading up to Dublin on Thursday for the dress rehearsal and will be staying in the Stillorgan Park Hotel near Donnybrook in Dublin for their two nights there.

‘I would say that it’s the cute factor and the fact that she can stay in tune that she was selected. It’s a simple song but I’m not allowed to reveal it,’ added Caroline. Faye will appear in the first half of the most eagerly anticipated Late Late Show of the year.

Cork girl band called ‘Pick n’ Mix’ will also be appearing and its members include Aisling de Breit from Carrigaline, Saoirse Cogan from Bandon, Katie McCoy from Kinsale and Aisling O’Shaughnessy and Kate Hogan from Blackrock.

The Late Late Toy Show is on RTÉ One on Friday November 27th at 9.35pm.
