Excitement building for women's awards event

NETWORK Ireland West Cork will hold its annual ‘Businesswoman of the Year’ awards event in Liss Ard Estate in Skibbereen this week.

Guest speaker for the event is Anne O’Leary, chief executive officer of Vodafone Ireland.

In addition, the Rising Star entrants were Tina Darb, Spearline Risk & Compliance, and Katie Hawkins, Celtic Ross Hotel, with Tina winning the regional award overall.

Ciara Lucy, president of Network Ireland West Cork said: ‘My goal this year is to try and instil confidence in our members and what better way than hosting awards for them where they can showcase their talent and businesses on both a local and national level. It’s an added bonus that this year’s national awards final will be held in Rosscarbery in September.’
