Bus transfers for Cork-Dublin train route this Saturday

DUE to line improvement works at Iarnród Éireann, some changes to this Saturday’s Cork-Dublin service have just been announced.

DUE to line improvement works at Iarnród Éireann, some changes to this Saturday’s Cork-Dublin service have just been announced.

As a special timetable will operate for the May Bank Holiday weekend services are expected to be busy in the run-up, and customers are advised to book in advance online at www.irishrail.ie to be guaranteed a seat and to get best value fares.

The changes for Cork-Dublin Intercity to Heuston passengers on Saturday April 29th are as follows:

A normal service will operate until 13.00hrs approximately. 

After 13.00hrs, services between Dublin and Cork will operate with bus transfers between Heuston and Newbridge, with onward train services, approximately every two hours.  Dublin Heuston/Limerick services will operate with connections to/from all Dublin Heuston/Cork services at Limerick Junction.

Tralee services will operate with connections to/from Dublin Heuston / Cork services at Mallow. Nenagh Line customers, please change at Ballybrophy as normal for connecting services.

On Sunday, Intercity will operate to a Sunday service with some time alterations, and some cancellations.    See irishrail.ie for full information.
