THE footbridge in Bandon is currently closed.
Cork County Council announced this week that the bridge will be closed from Friday December 18th until Tuesday December 22nd while works are being carried out following the floods that hit Bandon in recent weeks.
The closure of the foot bridge follows the removal of debris from under the bridge in the last week which had accumulated there during the floods.
