Another great Bantry Agricultural Show this Sunday

Bantry Show officers, committee members and sponsors at the launch of the 2015 show.

THIS Sunday September 6th is our 20th Annual Show and the venue is at The Beaches Bantry, by kind permission of Mrs Brigetta Wagner.

As always, we have a large entry in our livestock, poultry, arts & craft sections, and plenty of entertainment for everybody young and old on the day. A new attraction this year will be the Sheep Racing, which consists of six races with six sheep in each race.

For entertainment, there will be live music with well know Celtic rock band Rubicon to keep the crowd entertained into the evening.

There will also be set and step dancing.

Our ever popular Fashion Show organised by Martina Wiseman will be starting at 2pm, and there will be a variety of children’s entertainment on all day.

The dog show is at 3pm which is always a great attraction and later in the evening there will be the traditional sheaf tossing, tug of war, and many more side shows.

There will be a free ferry & shuttle bus combination operating from 11am to 7pm, so please avail of this service as it easies the traffic problems.

With all that’s on offer, Bantry Show is the place to be on Sunday September 6th, so do come and support us, hopefully in the sunshine.
