Advert shot in Eyeries will steal your heart

THE ad for HSBC Bank which was shot in Eyeries earlier this year has been unveiled.

The ad, with the tagline ‘Supporting Dreams’ involved the local people of the village and was directed by Oscar winning director Benjamin Cleary.

Benjamin picked up an Academy Award for his short film Stutterer earlier this year.

The HSBC ad is entitled ‘The Suit’ and tells the story of an astronaut being hailed as a hero in the small Irish town he comes home to, after making his space flight.

But in a scene that will steal your heart away - the astronaut makes his way back to the one person in the town whose appreciation he really wants to win - his Dad's.
