This week’s photograph dates back 35 years to a special celebration om November 10th, 1989 of the 100th anniversary of The Southern Star. Proprietor and editor Liam O’Regan was joined by his uncle Bernard O’Regan of Aughadown; Liam’s wife Maeve O’Regan; Minister of State for Food, Joe Walsh; Charlie McCarthy, Skibbereen; and Billy O’Brien, Aughadown.
