JINGLE BELL JUNCTION
Jingle Bell Junction is returning to Smugglers Cove in Rosscarbery starting on the weekend of November 29th and 30th. This year, children can once again enjoy an interactive pantostyle Christmas experience which also runs on the weekends of December 5th; December 13th and from December 18th to 21st.
NOVEMBER 29TH
CHARITY WALK
The annual Altrusa Christmas Walk of Rosscarbery Bay is a charity walk organised by Cork Simon Community to support homelessness. Donations are accepted on the day. All are welcome. The start time is 10am at the Carbery Rangers footpath pitch.

DECEMBER 1ST TO 24TH
REINDEER RUN
Support the RNLI Reindeer Run challenge from December 1st to 24th by running, walking or jogging 24 miles (that's one mile for every hour RNLI life savers are on call every day). Sign up at RNLI.org/Reindeer-RunChallenge.
DECEMBER 6TH
LIGHTS
William and Diana O'Donovan's Christmas Lights and the Union Hall Village Lights will be switched on Saturday December 6th. The event starts with a parade at 4.45pm from the causeway through the village headed by the Tallaght Pipe Band. The village lights will be switched on as the parade passes on its way to William and Diana's garden where their garden lights will be switched on as part of a party. The event will also feature carols singing and St Fachtna's Silver Band.
DECEMBER 7TH
MARKET
The popular annual Christmas market at Cecas at Myross Wood in Leap will take place on December 7th with lots of stalls. All are welcome. And there will be a free shuttle bus from Leap Church.
DECEMBER 8TH
LIGHTS
The switching on of the Christmas lights at the Square in Rosscarbery will take place on Monday evening, December 8th.
DECEMBER 13TH AND 14TH
There will be Christmas festivities from 11am until 5pm at Cnoc Bui Arts Centre in Union Hall on Saturday, December 13th and 14th. Refreshments will be served and Ellen Vibes Choir at 4pm on Sunday.
DECEMBER 14TH
Santa and Mrs. Claus will be arriving by boat at about 2.30pm at The Coffee Cup at Reen Pier on Sunday, December 14th. This is a free event with selection boxes for children to enjoy, as well as face painting and some West Cork Alpacas.
DECEMBER 20TH
Something new and exciting this year is the Leap Light Up celebration. From 5pm there will be music and a parade of light with lots of festive fun for all the family.
DECEMBER 25TH
The annual Christmas swim will take place at The Warren at 11am.
JANUARY 1ST
Another festive swim, this time at 1.30pm on New Year's Day will take place in Glandore as a fundraiser for Union Hall RNLI.
