SATURDAY NOVEMBER 22ND

CHRISTMAS LIGHTS

The annual Bandon St. Stephen's New Christmas Lights will take place with Bailéid na Banndan performing on the street outside the old Post Office by the Fish Corner from 2pm to 6pm, while The Carrigaline Singers lead the children in carols and rides around Bandon. Music at Riverview Shopping Centre by the Bandon Concert Band at 5pm. The mayor will turn on the Christmas lights and the whole town will be switched on with more music afterwards. Music starts at 5.30pm with the lights turn on at 6pm on the day.

BALLINACARRIGA CHRISTMAS CRAFT FAIR

Christmas Craft Fair in Ballinacarriga Community Hall, with all proceeds in aid of Friends of Donal and Tia the pit bull and the Maeve O'Mahony Fund. To book a stall ring Orla on 087-9444053 or 087-2944052.

SUNDAY NOVEMBER 23RD

CONCERT

Melody of Giving concert at St Joseph's Church at 8pm. The Ríocht na Midhe will perform and all proceeds will go to the Castletown Church Fund and St. Raphael's Nursing Home.

WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 26TH

QUIZ

There again is a fundraiser for Palestine and is being held as part of the West Cork Pro Gaza Group. Starts 8pm, teams of four are €40.

FRIDAY NOVEMBER 28TH

CHRISTMAS GOSPEL SHOW

Jason Perdue Gospel Boy Christmas Gospel Show at St Patrick's Church in Bandon. Doors 7pm, show 8pm. Tickets €50, available from Bandon Service Station at 023-8841444, or Bandon Books at 086-2652872. All proceeds in aid of St Patrick's Church and Bandon Christmas Lights.

DRAMA

Gaggin Drama Group presents A Living Will, performed by two different casts each night, in aid of West Cork for Gaza, doors open at 7pm for show at 7.30pm. Tickets via Eventbrite or at the door.

SATURDAY NOVEMBER 29TH

CHRISTMAS FAIR

The Starfish Christmas Fair will take place at Riverview Shopping Centre on Saturday November 29th from 10am to 3pm. To book a stall contact $\text{[email protected]}$

SANTAPAWS

West Cork Animal Rescue Boarding Kennels and Cattery in aid of the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind from 12pm to 4pm on November 29th and 11am to 3pm on Sunday November 30th. Donations of gifts include a digital pic with your pet.

CRAFT FAIR

SUNDAY NOVEMBER 30TH

BEDA CHRISTMAS FAIR

 

The Béda Christmas Fair takes place in the Béda Community Hall from 12pm to 4pm. Tickets €10 for children to visit Santa, mulled wine, monster raffle, Santa Grotto as well as live music by local band Pure Glass at 12.45pm and Bandon Concert Band from 2pm. Teas, coffees, and mulled wine are refreshments. For more details contact Ann on 086-8337583.

WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 3RD

CHRISTMAS PARTY

St Michael's Centre Christmas Party takes place at the Maritime Hotel, Bantry on Wednesday December 3rd. Tickets €20 including two-course meal, music by No Dice and a full Christmas Raffle. Tickets available at Musicmans, Tickets from St Michael's Centre themselves, or from O'Donovan's Pharmacy.

SATURDAY DECEMBER 6TH

ELF PARADE

Those taking part in the Elf Parade are being asked to assemble outside the old Post Office, of the Riverview Shopping Centre at 2pm. The parade proceeds to Bandon RFC Oldest Elf, Family of Elves and Ursula Elf!

CHRISTMAS DINNER

The Bandon Sports Council and Active Retirement Group will host its annual Christmas Dinner at the Maritime Hall from 1pm. Tickets are €40 with entertainment afterwards.

SANTA CLAUS

Castletown Parent & Toddler Group will be having a Santa Claus visit at 10.30am. €10 per child and there will also be a raffle. To book text or ring 085-7800684.

SUNDAY DECEMBER 7TH

'COME TO THE MANGER'

That is the first time 'Come to the Manger' will be held at St Patrick's Church in Bandon since the late Sr Alphonsus O'Brien died in 2021. From 2pm to 4pm. All are welcome.

INNISHANNON MARKET

The annual Innishannon Christmas Market takes place at Innishannon Parish Hall from 11am to 4pm. Entry is free and expect lots of festive stalls.

TUESDAY DECEMBER 9TH

FLOWER ARRANGING

A Christmas flower arranging event by local florist Mary O'Brien will be held at the Maritime Hall in Ballinshagh at 7.30pm.

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 14TH

CHRISTMAS MARKET

Kinsale and District Ramblers will be hosting their first Christmas Market from 4pm to 9pm.

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 25TH

SWIM

The annual Christmas Day Swim takes place at Coolmain Beach at 11am with all funds raised going to Bandon Search & Rescue.

SATURDAY DECEMBER 27TH

POC FADA

The Ger Fitzgerald Memorial Newtown Poc Fada takes place at the Valley Rovers GAA at 2pm. See Facebook for more details.

TRACTOR RUN
