Skibbereen’s Alison Levis (29) – the only female rally driver in this weekend’s Circuit of Munster Rally in Limerick – is a local chef who once had a run-in with a sauasage and a microwave!

How would your best friend describe you? Vivacious, fun and organised.

Who was your sporting hero when you were 10 years old? Michael Jordan –  Space Jam was the movie to be watching back then!

Tell us a funny story from your childhood: I put a sausage in the microwave and turned it on for ten minutes. I nearly burnt the house down. It’s safe to say my culinary skills have improved since then.

Where would you recommend for a weekend away? Anywhere along the Wild Atlantic Way when the sun shines.

If you were on an island and could only bring three things, what would you bring? My phone, food and a boat.

If you could go back in time, where would you go and why? Last week with the winning lotto numbers. Isn’t that what they all say!

What song best describes you? Catch Me If You Can.

What is your least favourite word? This is a family newspaper so I couldn’t repeat it.

What’s your favourite knock-knock joke? It’s a classic, of course. Knock knock. Who’s there? Boo. Boo who? Ah, don’t cry, it’s only a joke…

What’s the world’s greatest invention? Google. Can you think of a world without it …

If you know you’d die tomorrow, how would you spend your last day?

I’d wake up early. I have a lot of living to do and not much time to do it.

A penguin walks into the room wearing a sombrero, why is he wearing it and what does he say? There’s a heatwave and he’s so lost right now!
