Rate yourself on a scale of 1 to 10 on how funny you are?

It totally depends on who you ask!

Highlight of your sporting career?

Winning my third senior men’s All-Ireland Coastal Rowing Championship medal in Waterville recently was definitely the sweetest.

Most dialled number on your phone and why?

It would have to be my lovely wife Mags.

What’s your karaoke song?

I’d let the singing to Daniel Whelton. He does a fine rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody...

Hawaii in 2008 was unreal but my honeymoon, a Mediterranean cruise, was the best.

Tell us an interesting fact about yourself?

I’m a fan of UFC. I would often get Denis Griffin in a gator roll or an armbar!

If you won the lotto what would buy first?

It would definitely be a long holiday to Hawaii or anywhere the weather is nice.

Separated at birth, who’s your celebrity twin double?

My twin brother, Damien, and I used to be called the Klitschkos for a while. I would say I’m more like Wladimir as he has more title belts!

Food.

If you could change any part of you what would it be?

I would like to have better eyesight.

Your most treasured item of clothing?

Does my wedding ring count?!

Favourite cartoon?

I have a few – X-Men, The Centurions and Biker Mice from Mars!

If I was an animal I would be a ...lion.

What question would you like to have been asked in this interview?

Tell us how great coastal rowing really is, and how it is a sport for people of all ages?
