GABRIEL Rangers and St Mary’s will meet in the South West U21 C football championship final in Dunmanway this Easter Sunday.

In the semi-finals last weekend, Gabriel Rangers defeated Muintir Bháire 2-10 to 0-9 on Saturday, while St Mary’s got the better of St James, 2-10 to 0-6.

Gabriels scored two second-half goals, thanks to Timothy O'Mahony and Paudie Hegarty, while Sean Kelleher scored 0-6 for the winners, as they came from a point behind at the break.

Meanwhile, a goal in each half was crucial in St Mary’s win on Sunday, as man-of-the-match Rory O’Connor and Stephen Whye scored 1-2 apiece.
