PHOTOGRAPHER Jakub Walutek has captured some spectacular footage of the MFV Sean Anthony which was the subject of a dramatic rescue on Sunday.
The fishing trawler was left lying on rocks at Moneypoint near Kinsale after rough seas forced the crew to abandon ship on Sunday.
The three Portuguese crew were rescued by Kinsale RNLI which recorded the rescue, showing the rough seas they were battling in order to save the men.
The trawler is now on rocks and has been captured by drone footage, showing the ‘calm after the storm’ as photographer Jakub puts it.
He has accompanied his footage, which contrasts the danger of this jagged area of coastline and the stunning blue seascape, with some very dramatic music!
The RNLI footage has gone viral on social media given the incredible scenes they captured during Sunday night’s combination of high winds, heavy rainfall and high tides.
