THE Southern Star, thanks to its printing partner Webprint in Mahon, Cork, is a finalist in this year’s Irish Print Awards.
These awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of the printing sector throughout the country over the past 12 months. The Star is one of three finalists in the Regional Newspaper of the Year category, along with The Clare Champion (which is also printed by Webprint) and the Ulster Herald (which is printed by Interpress Northern Ireland Ltd).
The awards also recognise and reward the high standards of excellence delivered in the industry.
The 2019 winners will be revealed on Friday, November 29th at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Northwood, Dublin at the 42nd gala awards ceremony.
