Met Eireann has issued a Weather Advisory Alert for Cork which is valid from 3am on Saturday.

The alert reads: 'Storm Dennis will bring some very wet and very windy weather over the weekend and into Monday'.

Some flooding is likely along with damaging gusty winds and some disruption possible.

The alert is valid until 12pm on Monday, February 17.
