Michael Healy Rae puts it up to West Cork's candidates! Where are your videos?

With Michael Healy Rae just launching his video 'Make the Diff' for election this morning, we are all wondering at the Southern Star why we haven't seen one from some of the local candidates.

Margaret Murphy O'Mahony, Michael Collins, Jim Daly, Rachel McCarthy et al, where are your YouTube creations?

With lyrics like 'keeps on smilin', he's amazin', call him, meet him, when you 'nade him!' the Kerryman's classic could be a big hit – in Kerry, at least.

With a video that has him posing with a rifle, meeting footballing legend Mark Ó Sé, and even carrying sand bags to flood victims, the 'Make the Diff' message is loud and clear.

The lyrics were written and sung by Truly Diverse, a local Kerry band.

'They did a great job' Healy-Rae said, and he also went on to say: 'There might be more to come in the coming weeks.'
