SKIBBEREEN has proven lucky for yet another punter as a €500,000 prize was won on a Euro Millions ticket brought there for Friday night’s draw.
The ticket, which was bought in Paul Connolly’s Spar supermarket on Cork Road, Skibbereen, was a €9 quick pick and the lucky numbers that came up in the EuroMillions Plus draw for Ireland were 31, 37, 41, 47 and 50.
Skibbereen is known as a lucky lotto town with several big jackpot winners in various National Lottery outlets there over the past two decades, yielding several million euro.
