Safer Internet Day is an EU wide initiative to promote a safer internet for all users, especially young people.
The Garda National Protective Services Bureau (GNPSB) and Webwise have launched a video to mark Safer Internet Day.
Safer Internet Day (SID) is an EU wide initiative to promote a safer internet for all users, especially young people.
The video was created to compliment the 'Be in Ctrl' teaching resource and depicts the stories of two teenagers subjected to online sexual coercion and extortion.
The purpose of this video is to inform young people that this behaviour is a crime, raise awareness of how to protect themselves online and where to find help and support.
