A PASSAGE West priest has gone viral after he did ‘The Floss’ dance on the altar after a Holy Communion last week.

Fr Con Cronin had just finished a first Holy Communion mass with second class students from Star of the Sea Primary School in St Mary’s Church when he joined the boys and girls on the altar who were doing ‘The Floss’ – a dance which looks a bit like you are flossing your knees rather than your teeth!

Much to the surprise of the whole congregation, as the children began to dance, Fr Con joined in with the dance made famous by the hugely popular Fortnite video game.

His moves were captured on video and he went viral in just a few days.

‘It was absolutely brilliant to see our very own Father Con putting Passage West on the map with his Floss Dance,’ said Cllr Michael ‘Frick’ Murphy on a Facebook post.

‘Fr Con really gets in around the community of Passage West and Monkstown and really boosts the community spirit. A real character and we really are blessed to have him.’
