Clonakilty shops to get a colourful lift

THE people of Clonakilty are being asked to give their shopfronts a makeover with some colourful paint.

It’s all thanks to the Clonakilty Chamber of Commerce, in association with Colortrend Paints, which is launching the ‘Let’s Paint Clonakilty’ initiative. 

After the recent roadworks, the Chamber wants to get the town looking great again, so the Chamber is hoping the plan will give a real boost to traders, with a fresh start for their new-look town. 

Gwen McCarthy, Colortrend’s Cork-based colour expert, will be on hand to advise on paint colours and choose a tailored colour scheme for each individual business. 

This, along with discounts on Colortrend paints and paint products, will hopefully help ease the burden of what has been a difficult year.
