Bus transfers on Cork to Dublin train line this weekend

THERE will be bus transfers on the Cork line between Newbridge and Heuston train station in Dublin this weekend, due to works on the railway lines.

THERE will be bus transfers on the Cork line between Newbridge and Heuston train station in Dublin this weekend, due to works on the railway lines.

The work will also affect the Kerry and Limerick routes to and from Dublin, from Saturday May 4th until Monday May 6th.

Iarnród Éireann reminds customers to check times before travel on all routes for service alterations. Bank holiday schedules can be searched through the journey planner at www.irishrail.ie online.

Minor alterations are also expected on Cork Commuter services, which will operate as follows: Cork to Cobh: hourly from 08.00hrs to 21.00hrs, and at 22.30hrs; Cobh to Cork: hourly from 08.30hrs to 21.30hrs, and at 23.00hrs; Cork to Midleton: hourly from 08.15hrs to 22.15hrs; Midleton to Cork: hourly from 08.45hrs to 22.45hrs. For those travelling in and around Dublin city, no Dart services will operate between Howth and Malahide.

Dublin Bus will accept rail tickets for affected areas. On the Belfast Enterprise service, bus transfers will operate between Connolly and Drogheda, with trains between Drogheda and Belfast.
