A diver was airlifted from Union Hall today with a suspected case of the bends.
A DIVER was airlifted today from Union Hall by a coastguard helicopter and is currently en route to Craigavon Hospital in Co Armagh to be treated for decompression sickness, commonly known as 'the bends' at the hospital's hyperbaric medical chamber.
A spokesperson for the Irish Coast Guard said the situation is fluid and no more details were available at this moment.
