THE West Cork Literary Festival is gearing up for its July 12th-18th run. Writers should note that the J G Farrell Award’s closing date is May 25th and the prize is a place on John Boyne’s sold-out Writing a Novel workshop, as well as a five-night stay in the Maritime Hotel in Bantry.
If you have a novel in progress and are based in Munster, you can send the opening chapter to the festival – details are at http://www.westcorkmusic.ie/.
