BORN from its humble beginnings in Finbarr Murphy’s field in 1996, the Bantry Agricultural Show celebrates its 21st year at what is set to be another eventful and exciting day at ‘The Beaches’ in Bantry this Sunday.

From the impressive display of championship horses, cows, sheep, and poultry, to the glamorous fashion show and traditional dancing, everything you’ve come to expect from the Bantry Show will be out in force and only growing more impressive each year.

Free buses and ferries are running to and from the show field, making it easier than ever to show your support and enjoy the experience waiting for you there.

Through the hard work and phenomenal dedication shown each and every year by the Bantry Show’s outstanding organisational committee, the show continues to grow and deliver an amazing day every year.

The members, young and old, veterans and newcomers, come together through their passion for the show and make it what it is today.

With too many members to name individually, it goes without saying, that each and every one of the committee’s members has earned the utmost admiration and appreciation of the shows attendees and deserves every commendation for their vigorous voluntary work.

• The Bantry Agricultural Show is made possible by kind permission of ROWA Pharmaceuticals as well as its sponsors – Biggs Oil & Catering Supplies, Murphy & O’Connor, O’Keeffe’s SuperValu Bantry, Drinagh Co-Op and James Lyons & Drinagh Farm Centre, Bantry.
