A BED and breakfast business on Cape Clear Island has won an ‘All-Star’ business award for providing its customers with a first-rate Gaeltacht experience.

The Business All-Stars is an annual competition designed to identify, recognise, and accredit Irish companies and individuals that have distinguished themselves in business over the last 12 months.

Eibhlín Uí Lionáin, the owner of Ard na Gaoithe, told The Southern Star that the process that led to the accreditation ‘truly stretched us.’

Eibhlín said they are local, islanders and an Irish-speaking family, which allows them to give ‘a deeper cultural holiday experience in the heart of the Wild Atlantic Way.’
