Quality folk music comes to Catherine’s St Cultural Centre in Kinsale on December 13th, courtesy of Leah Song and Duncan Wickel of American South band Rising Appalachia.

Touring as a duo, these longtime collaborators bring traditional Appalachian ballads, banjo, bodhran, and fiddle tunes, original compositions, and reimagined favourites from their global catalogue for an intimate evening of folk music.

Their performances are rooted in folk tradition and improvisational spirit, carried by Leah’s rich storytelling and Duncan’s multi-instrumental mastery, celebrating the ‘timeless conversation’ between Appalachia and Ireland.
