SWS FORESTRY have announced a new addition to their team, Cork native Donagh Twomey, who has been working with the company full-time since July.
Twomey is the forest manager in West Cork, and works with the regional manager for the Cork area, Michael Connelly.
A graduate of SETU Waterford, Donagh holds a BSc in Land Management and Forestry.

He and Michael oversee all forest establishment and management operations, from afforestation and native woodland creation, to roading and harvesting.
Donagh has spent many years working alongside his father Denis Twomey in the family’s harvesting business, Donnacha O Tuama Iompair Teo.
He is an expert in harvesting, having spent many years operating harvesting machinery and working in timber yards.
He has also gained valuable experience in clear felling and thinning operations.
SWS Forestry Services was established in 1986, and has grown to be one of the country’s leading forestry contracting companies.
To date, they have planted over 40,000 hectares of forest for private and public landowners.
The company employs 20 staff directly, and another 165 contractors.
