Mark O’Donovan is quickly becoming an internet sensation after a video of the local rower showed him combining the arts of weightlifting and Irish dancing during a training session!
O’Donovan and fellow Skibb rower Shane O’Driscoll have their sights set on the 2016 Olympics in Rio next summer, and recently they won the B final of the men’s lightweight pair at the world senior rowing championships in France.
And with Mark’s unique and original training technique, this fleet-footed Skibbereen man might yet be dancing his way to Brazil…
