Thompson will captain Cork in Sunday’s Liberty Insurance senior camogie final against Kilkenny in Croke Park (4pm throw-in) as the Rebels chase the three-in-a-row.
‘To play at this level of camogie it requires your whole life, 24 hours seven days a week. You have to commit everything to it. You have to put everything to the side, whether that’s family, friends, your social life. You have to give your whole life to this sport,’ Thompson said, ahead of the showdown with the Cats.
