BANDON’S Conor Hourihane is heading back to Wembley after he led Barnsley to a 6-1 aggregate League 1 semi-final win against Walsall.

The West Cork soccer star (25) captained the Tykes to a 3-1 second leg semi-final win on Thursday night, setting up Adam Hammill for Barnsley’s opening goal on the night, as they booked their place in the League 1 final at Wembley.

Barnsley will play either Millwall or Bradford in the final, with Millwall 3-1 up after the first leg.

Hourihane, in his second season with Barnsley, already captained the club to Johnstone’s Paint Final glory at Wembley in early April, and he will also be looking to make his next trip to Wembley a winning one.

The midfielder has scored 11 goals and has 17 assists this season. He scored 14 goals last season, his first with Barnsley, and set up 15 goals.
