This year's decider will be a repeat of 2014 county final
CARBERY Rangers and Ballincollig will meet in the 2016 Cork SFC final on October 16th after their semi-final wins at Pairc Ui Rinn on Sunday.
This will be a repeat of the 2014 final that Ballincollig won 1-13 to 1-10 to win their first Cork SFC title.
Earlier today Carbery Rangers were too strong for Avondhu, winning 1-17 to 0-8 to qualify for their second county final in three years, with John Hayes scoring a first-half penalty for Ross.
In the second semi-final Ballincollig dethroned champions Nemo Rangers, winning 1-10 to 2-6 thanks to late points from Kevin Browne and Cian Dorgan after Luke Connolly goaled to put Nemo 2-6 to 1-8 ahead with five minutes left. Nemo had led 1-5 to 0-3 at the break.
