BALLINASCARTHY Camogie Club’s has launched its 50th anniversary celebrations. The club was set up in 1969 and called Castleview at the time.

The celebrations are being planned for the Spring of 2019 and all retired and past camogie players are being asked to attend a meeting at the end of November in Ballinascarthy hall to get the ball rolling. Anyone interested in attending is being asked to contact current club secretary Kate Crowley at 086-4540981 for further details.

An exhibition of photos and newspaper clippings over the 50 years will be on display for the celebrations, so they encourage everyone who has a story to tell, to get in touch.

Ballinascarthy Camogie Club has just completed a very successful year, winning the Junior B county final in September so a celebratory dinner dance will be held early in the new year and everyone is welcome to join in the festivities.
