THIS month the West Cork Chamber Music Festival will be in Dublin – as the National Concert Hall (NCH) pays tribute to the Bantry-based festival.

On Saturday 28 March the NCH will be the location for a full day of concerts, celebrating the festival’s twentieth year.

There will be five concerts throughout the day, ranging from a ‘coffee concert’ at 11am, featuring award-winning cellist Natalie Clein and violinists Henning Kraggerud and Krzysztof Chorzelski, to a contemporary late night concert at 10.30pm with the Vanbrugh Quartet and pianist Paavali Jumppanen.

Other concerts during the day will see further performances by these artists, as well as Vienna’s Artis Quartet and young Irish musicians Mairead Hickey (violin) and Gary Beecher, (piano). A day ticket is available – so you can see all five concerts for €65.

For full details of the event, contact the NCH Box Office at 01 417 00 00 or see www.nch.ie
