TÁNAISTE Tánaiste Micheál Martin participated in the annual New Year's Day swim at Courtmacsherry in aid of the RNLI.
In the video recorded by Martin Walsh, The Cork South Central TD said there was a 'great crowd' at the 'fantastic occasion' at Broadstrand Bay.
'The water was lovely and refreshing,' he said. 'Here's to a new year with gusto!'
