There was a 'warm' welcome for the cyclists in this year's Cycle Against Suicide when they arrived in West Cork today and the sun shone brightly.

THERE was a 'warm' welcome for the cyclists in this year's Cycle Against Suicide when they arrived in West Cork today.

After a few days of tough conditions, and a wet start, the sun finally came out this afternoon when the hundreds of cyclists left Bantry for Schull and Skibbereen.

The massive entourage, with emergency services escorts, and a supporters' bus, cycled through West Cork in their distinctive orange gear, part of a major fundraiser and publicity campaign to raise awareness about suicide and mental health.
